Jeffrey Jay Foxx, an ethnographic photographer of international repute, has journeyed around the world for educational publishers and development organizations such as the United Nations and the InterAmerican Foundation. He has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, Central America, and the American Southwest, on his own, and for such publications as LIFE and the National Geographic Society.

Foxx’s work reflects his profound respect for the dignity and artistic achievements of indigenous peoples. The book LIVING MAYA won the
prestigious Anisfield-Wolf Award in Race Relations.
